The BBC has a tough time with the work duties on one hand and the sensitive nation on an other hand as the opponents of the former Prime Minister of Britain and Iron Lady Margaret Thatcher have come togther bringing the song Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead back to life and to the top of the charts.
This song clearly mocking her and her death, is now at the top of the charts in UK. However, BBC has not aired it to ward of controversies and hurting the sensitivities of the people. This song is from the Wizard of Oz, the soundtrack of which was glorified after the lady died. Her critics have worked together to bring the song to the top of the UK Singles charts.
If a song is on top of a chart, it should be aired on the BBC but the broadcaster was asked by a few too many to not play the song since it could hurt the sentiments of several people. A lawmaker from the Conservative Party of Thatcher said that the song was deeply insensitive to many people.
BBC didn't respond to the calls or messages on Friday.
