Greatandhra.com, a gossip portal, focused in writing several gossips for multiple years about celebrity private life going way beyond limits by any meaningful journalism. GreatAndhra.com practiced writing created, imaginary, wicked gossips based on perverted extra marital relationships about celebrities damaging the public image of these celebrities.

At the heart of the greatandhra.com’s gossip articles barrage of irrelevant character assassination, inadmissible hearsay, and mischaracterizations of Celebrities especially Film and Political attacking their credibility, is an undercurrent of bigotry. The gossip headings & conclusions are ridiculous for numerous reasons and many times quotes apparent statements from celebrities by twisting the out of context statements. Greatandhra.com by spreading these character assassination stories mentally tortured celebrities, movie artists and political leaders.

for past two yearsimpacting his career as film hero which took him so much of hard work to build in film industry . In earlier occassions Sivaji complaiend but no action took place since Venkat is a USA citizen and not an Indian citizen.

Greatandhra.com and its owner Venkat turned into black mailer using the web portal, its readership, and reach, ability to spread any kind of dubious message as a weapon in destroying one’s public image or a film or career of any upcoming artists or any film business. These celebrities are facing with threats of running outrageous gossips damaging their career & public image. The created gossips combined with sla nder and vulgarism themes in way of deceptive articles are echoed for many years in greatandrha.com and now even followed by many newly mushrooming gossip portals.

These gossip portals write articles with created relations amongst artists (heroes, heroines) in their private life and many times even projected many working women with perverted views and heinous relationships. It also mocks film celebrities & political leaders with all kind of nick names ( ‘pottodu’; ‘comedian’) there by propagating vilified slander belittling them in public.

In today’s thank you note from Venkat on Greatandhra.com:

“I was charged with IPC-500, 506 and 66A number cases”

and also quoted that “Some TV channels have been propagating that greatandhra.com has been completely into gossips and writing suppressing news on various film celebrities”.

“ But a few groups with vested interests and a factor of hatred are trying to make greatandhra.com shut down with their senseless ways”

He also claims that “We present you the articles with the subjects of ancient history, politics, movies and present day politics” which took many readers by surprise!!!

In the feud between the Journalists and the Law, a flimsy argument put across by the Journalists when reprimanded for their wrong doings is that they conveniently blame the legal set up and the people for curtailing their right to spread awareness. However it is a fact that various provisions under law have given enough scope to journalism to do its job with full validation and earnestness. Despite that, out of sheer desperation for more exaltation, journalists have misused this freedom for their own vested interests. Leaving aside local laws of each country and each state laws in USA which are more stringent ( on the state level at least 17 states and 2 territories in USA have criminal defamation laws) , these web portals are totally forgetting the governing international laws such as  Article 17 of the United Nations International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights which states:

1. No one shall be subjected to arbitrary or unlawful interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to unlawful attacks on his honour and reputation.

2. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks.
