KCR and Revanth Reddy loses in Kamareddy:- K Venkata Ramana Reddy of the BJP emerged victorious in the Kamareddy constituency, defeating both Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (from BRS) and Telangana Congress leader Revanth Reddy. The election commission data reveals that KVR Reddy secured 66,652 votes, leading the polls by a margin of 6,741 votes against KCR and Revanth Reddy. The Kamareddy assembly constituency became the center of attention during this Telangana election, witnessing a three-way battle between K Chandrashekar Rao, Revanth Reddy, and K Venkata Ramana Reddy of the BJP.

The high-stakes Telangana Assembly election featured a triangular contest involving the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and the Congress. The Congress has now crossed the majority mark in Telangana, securing 64 seats and is poised to overthrow the K Chandrashekar Rao-led BRS government. In the prestigious Kamareddy constituency, BJP candidate Katipally Venakata Ramana Reddy has been leading by 3,092 votes, competing against outgoing Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) and state Congress chief A Revanth Reddy.
