Yarlagadda Venkatrao appointed as Gannavaram TDP in charge:- On Wednesday, TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh announced Yarlagadda Venkat Rao as the incharge of the TDP party for the Gannavaram Assembly constituency. Nara Lokesh during his Yuvagalam Padayatra announced it. He called Yarlagadda to defeat sitting MLA Vallabhaneni Vamshi Mohan in the forthcoming election of Andhra Pradesh.
In 2019, Vallabhaneni Vamsi was won as TDP MLA and later defected as YSRCP MLA after the general election. Gannavaram has been a TDP constituency for years and the party leaders were confident of winning the seat at that time, even in 2019 Vamsi won as a TDP MLA. Nara Lokesh on this occasion reminded the public that how Vamsi insulted his mother and TDP cadre. Lokesh asked for revenge. Several MPPs, former MPPs, ZPTCs and former ZPTCs along with Venkat Rao have joined TDP.

It looks like the leaders of Gannavaram target Vallabhaneni Vamsi's defeat. Venkat Rao later asked the party cadre to work with him for the defeat and reminded him how Vamsi insulted TDP by joining YSRCP. Venkat Rao shows his confidence of winning in the next election in Vamsi and coming into power.
Venkat Rao also said that he is in politics only to do politics, but not anti-social elements. He promised the Gannavaram constituency seat as a gift to Nara Lokesh and Chandrababu Naidu.
