MS Dhoni Opens Up About Depression When CSK Was Banned:- Indian ex-skipper and wicketkeeper batsmen Mahendra Singh Dhoni represents Chennai Super Kings in IPL. The team was banned after 2013 ILP fixing scandal and Dhoni called it the most disturbing and depressing days in his career. During an interview in a documentary 'Roar of the Lion', Dhoni broke out and he said that the scandal even brought tremors in the Indian cricket team. Soon, the team returned back after two years of suspension.

"2013 was the toughest phase in my life and I was into depression after the incident. This was the most talked thing and we were badly alleged. We did deserve punishment and the return back was a mixed feeling. Chennai Super Kings has been quite close to my heart and as a captain, I wish to question what did the team do wrong? It was the mistake of our franchise and no player was involved in this scam. My name too came up in the fixing" said Dhoni.

"Fixing a match needs a majority of players. For me, cricket is the most important thing and because of this, I waited in silence from the past few years. Match fixing is a bigger crime than committing murder. If I am involved in fixing, I would be punished" concluded Dhoni.
