Healthy Diet to Reduce Belly Fat and Inflammation

Incorporate the right eating habit to get rid of excess belly fat and prevent inflammation.

Fruits and vegetables

Include lots of fresh fruits and vegetables in your daily diet. Food like apples, papaya, berries, broccoli, spinach and mushrooms are rich in nutrients and fiber that help your body to combat inflammation.

Green tea

Green tea contains flavonoids that has anti-inflammatory properties and helps in reducing body fat.This healthy beverage helps to lose weight and reduces inflammation. Besides it also improves your skin tone.

Omega-3 fatty acids

Several studies have recorded  that a diet rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and low in Omega-6 fatty acids is helpful in decreasing inflammation. Food like flaxseed, walnuts and fish like wild Alaskan salmon contain these acids.


Spices like ginger, garlic, cinnamon, peppers, turmeric and chilli have inflammation-reducing properties. So add them to your meals to prevent inflammation in your body.

Whole grains

Whole grains are rich in fiber and regulate the flow of insulin in your body, which prevents bloating.


Consume at least 2 litres of water everyday. Water helps to flush out harmful toxins that cause  inflammation in your body.
