The stalwart of Communist Party of India [CPI] and General Secretary AB Bardhan was hospitalised on Friday. Bardhan attended the three day national executive meeting of CPI in Nagpur and suddenly felt uneasy. He was rushed to a multi-speciality hospital and a special team of doctors are monitoring the veteran Communist leader.
Doctors who are treating Bardhan said, there is slight bleeding in the left portion of his brain but his condition is stable. The doctors have advised a complete rest for the 91 year old leader. The party has expressed confident that Bardhan would recover fast. Meanwhile the CPI is planning for a massive protest across the nation on January 24 ahead of US President Barack Obama's visit to India.
