India's Jitu Rai has won gold medal for the country in 17th Asian Games 2014 and opened the account. In the 50m Air Pistol competition, Rai has performed terrific and crowned the top spot with immense efforts. Rai has been in sensational form in 2014 winning 6 international medals since June. Standing first, Rai got 186.2 points in comparison Vietnam's Nguyen Hoang Phuong.
In the same segment, Shweta Chaudhary won the bronze in the women's 10m air pistol at the Ongnyeon International Shooting Range. Today, in judo, weightlifting, wushu, badminton, equestrian, tennis, volleyball, squash and handball, Indian athletes will be testing their luck.
