AP Govt extends Lockdown till June 20th:- Andhra Pradesh was one of the states that announced lockdown in the state after the reported cases are much higher. The government of Andhra Pradesh announced the extension of the lockdown and curbs in the state till June 20th in the state. AP government announced relaxations after the wave of cases saw a decline in the recent week. The curfew will be relaxed from 6 AM to 2 PM and the state would head for lockdown for the rest of the time in the day. A review meeting was conducted by the Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy with the officials today after which the announcement was made.

The government offices in Andhra Pradesh will operate from 8 AM to 2 PM as per the new government order. All those who are traveling into the state during the curfew time will have to carry an e-pass. A total number of 4872 new cases of coronavirus are reported in Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours and the total cases tally climbed to 17,60,316. The total discharges in the state are said to be 16,34,254. A total number of 11,552 people passed away in the state till date and there are 1,14,510 active cases for coronavirus in the state.
