AP leads the nation in Unemployment: Nara Lokesh:- Nara Lokesh, the general secretary of the TDP, expressed his deep concern over the alarming rise in unemployment in Andhra Pradesh, stating that it is unfortunate that the state now has the highest unemployment rate in the country, reaching 24 percent. In a tweet, Lokesh compared Andhra Pradesh's unemployment rate to that of other states and emphasized how Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy's policies have led to the destruction of a once thriving state, leaving the youth disheartened. Lokesh expressed his hope that the well-qualified youth of the state will have a brighter future.

During his ongoing Yuva Galam padayatra at Godicherla village, Lokesh received complaints from women representatives of the Payakaraopet Assembly segment regarding the lack of security under the YSRCP rule. In a memorandum to Lokesh, they expressed their dissatisfaction with the implementation of the Disha Act and urged him to introduce a new legislation that would ensure the safety of women in the state.

Additionally, the women representatives requested Lokesh's support in establishing employment training centers and providing subsidized loans to them.

The upcoming TDP government plans to implement a pension for unmarried women and introduce the Pendli Kanuka, a wedding gift. Lokesh expressed concerns about the current government's treatment of women, stating that they are being deceived with the non-existent Disha Act. He emphasized that the government is turning a blind eye to the increasing violence and injustices against women. Lokesh assured the women representatives that once the TDP forms the next government, they will enact legislation similar to that of the East Coast States to ensure the safety of women. Additionally, they will introduce the Maha Sakthi scheme to address the issues faced by women.
