Ex-Andhra Intelligence Chief Responds on Sudden Suspension:- Director-General of Police-rank officer and the Intelligence Chief Venkateswara Rao received a sudden shock after the Andhra Pradesh Government suspended him from his position. Venkateswara Rao was accused of serious misconduct in security-related equipment. He is said to have allegedly shared the intelligence protocols to Israeli defense manufacturing firm said the government of Andhra Pradesh after which he was sacked from his position.

Venkateswara Rao said that there is no need to worry and he is not disturbed. Venkateswara Rao is in plans to fight against the government legally soon. He is said to be exploring the legal options currently. Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney issued an order against Venkateswara Rao suspending him as per the report submitted by Director General of Police Gautam Sawang. Venkateswara Rao is an officer of 1989 batch and he has been asked not to leave Vijayawada without taking the permission of the government.

AP Government alleges that Venkateswara Rao during the previous government colluded with Israeli defense equipment manufacturer RT Inflatables Pvt Ltd.
