Would TDP chief Chadrababu Naidu be backstabbed? Would his old mistakes come back to haunt him? This August, a lot is happening in Andhra Pradesh politics that has all the signs of old demons making their appearance again.

It is believed that Harikrishna's resignation was a decision that had the influence of people who are against Naidu behind it. In the past, Naidu had backstabbed the then Chief Minister NTR to take hold of the reins of AP. He had cleverly made a coup, wherein all those opposed to Lakshmi Parvati's influence on NTR helped oust the great actor and politician, enabling Naidu to become CM.

NTR's sons Harikrishna, Balakrishna and other son-in-law Daggubati Venkateswara Rao played a crucial role in the coup. In the present day, Harikrishna's name is again being dragged into a coup controversy, as Naidu had sidelined him after rising to power. All those who sided with him then are against Chandrababu Naidu now, with the exception of Balakrishna.

As the Nanadamuri rift widens, the state is slipping into another political crisis that could see a major figure being toppled. Venkateswar Rao and his wife, UnionMinister Purandarewari are said to be in on the game plan with Harikrishna. There are rumors that those opposing Naidu are also apposing his son, who is ready to peek out from under his father's wings.

In August 1995, NTR faced an emotionally disturbing coup. After 18 years, will the situation repeat? There are many people who repent supporting Naidu during the controversial events that occurred before the tragic death of NTR.
