Sundar Pichai Paid a Whopping Amount of 242 Million USD for New Role:- Google CEO Sundar Pichai is all set to take home a whopping amount of 240 million USD stock as package (90 million USD for Alphabet's performance) along with a 2 million USD annual salary. Alphabet said that Sundar Pichai will receive substantial raise from January 1st, 2020 to 2 million USD per year as per the reports. Pichai got expansion for his role and is overlooking Alphabet along with Google as a CEO. Sundar Pichai received 90 million USD in stock awards. He also received stock grants of 120 million USD and 30 million USD as a subject to his continued employment.

Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin decided to relinquish their current positions in the parent company Alphabet earlier this month after which Sundar Pichai was made as the CEO of Alphabet. Larry and Sergey will continue as co-founders and shareholders of Alphabet. Sundar Pichai joined Google in 2004 and took the lead of the development team of Google Toolbar along with Google Chrome. He became the CEO of Google in the year 2015. After Sundar Pichai took the lead, Google was focused on developing various products and services. Sundar Pichai is from Chennai and he graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and holds a Master's Degree from Stanford University and an MBA from the Wharton School.
