Union Minister Ananth Kumar Cremated With State Honors:- Senior BJP leader from Karnataka and Union Minister Ananth Kumar passed away during the early hours of yesterday. The whole country mourned his demise and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi flew down to Bengaluru to offer the his condolences to the family of the legendary politician. His mortal remains have been kept for public visit and people across Karnataka paid their respects. Ananth Kumar has been cremated with state honors today in Bengaluru. His mortal remains have been wrapped in tricolour and were taken from his residence to the BJP office.

Then they were shifted to National College Grounds at 11 AM after which the last journey started. Indian Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and BJP Chief Amit Shah attended the last rites in Chamarajpet. A three day mourning period was announced across Karnataka. He was hospitalized on October 21st due to cancer and breathed his last yesterday. Ananth Kumar has been survived by his wife Tejaswini and daughters Aishwarya, Vijeta.
