The senior leader of BJP LK Advani is not going to attend the BJP's first ever meeting in Bihar after the relations are strained with the Chief Minister of Bihar and President of Janta Dal (U) Nitish Kumar.  

Narendra Modi will speak in that public meeting.  Although the relations between JDU and BJP are strained, association of Modi and Nitish Kumar is still intact.

The Chief Secretary of BJP Ananth Kumar explained the situation that the party is going to conduct 100 public meetings before 2014 elections.  All the top leaders cannot attend all the meetings.  So it is the part of the plan that some leaders will attend and some don’t in those meetings.  

For the question of a media representative whether Advani is not willing to attend because of the close relation Modi and Nitish are maintaining, Ananth Kumar brushed it off saying that it is all imagination.  He said that the objective of each and every leader is to fight against the Congress party.  

Ananth Kumar also expressed his hope that the party is pooling its strength in spite of some of the members of the NDA withdrawing support to NDA.  He said that the President of TDP Chandra Babu Naidu and the YSRCP Honorary President Vijayamma met with the All India BJP President.  

Ananth Kumar assured that everything is going on smoothly in the party meaning no tussle between the leaders and no problem with Advani.
