Telangana Govt To Fix School Fees Soon?:- Based on the school fee regulatory panel report, the Telangana Government would soon regularize the school fee in all the schools.

A Government Order (GO) would be issued soon from this academic year for all the private schools, including CBSE, ICSE and IB. A regulatory panel headed by convener Tirupati Rao assured all the stakeholders, that the panel has suggested the state government to increase the fees only once in three years.

Rao said at a media briefing, “We have also suggested that the government establish district fee regulatory committees (DFRC) and regulate it from the academic year 2017-18.”

He further added that a retired district judge or a retired state government officer of secretary rank would head the DFRC.

The new GO would be effective from this year and that it would be notified under 1983 Capitation Fee Act. The flaws pointed out earlier in the HC and the SC would also be corrected.
