Only Two Persons Gained Credibility in Seemandhra

Among all the leaders of the Seemandhra belonging to different parties, only Kiran Kumar Reddy stands strong and tall with his increased goodwill in the region. Another person is Ashok Babu President of APNGOs Association who does not belong to any political party.  These two leaders gained more credibility and goodwill than any other leader in Seemandhra.

The Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is gradually making his footing firm.  More than his popular welfare schemes, he is lauded for sticking to one point right from the start of the State bifurcation issue i.e., against bifurcation.  He has been telling all the way that as a Chief Minsiter of the State he cannot approve the decision of the Center to bifurcate the State because of the fact that entire State is going to sustain loss.

Loss number one is the largest State in South India is getting split in to two small ones.  Kiran Kumar says that there will be problems in sharing power and water resources.  He also says that the Chances of getting more investments to the State will come down as it will become two small States.  Kiran Kumar says that the loss due to bifurcation is not limited Seemandhra alone.  It will be for both the regions.  Above all he said that the decision to bifurcate is going to damage the position of the Congress party not only in Seemandhra but also in the Telangana region which he cannot accept as a loyalist of the party.

He has been fighting with the party high command and other senior party leaders in the best interests of the party as he says.  He says firmly that he is against the bifurcation and he will fight as long as he continues as the CM of the State.  He says confidently that the proposal will be defeated in the Assembly when it comes.  He assures that the bifurcation will not happen before 2014 elections.  He has not resigned, stated that he will not do it and also suggested that the Ministers MPs and MLAs should not resign as they have to stop the Telangana Bill.

Because of the above Kiran Kumar Reddy gained goodwill in Seemandhra and also he is doubted by other leaders of the Congress party also along with other parties that he may float a political party of his own.  So far Kiran Kumar Reddy did not reveal any such inclination that he will found a party but the strength he is gaining in the Seemandhra is giving room for such rumors.

Another person to get popularity is Ashok Babu who gained a lot of recognition, goodwill and respect among the Seemandhra people and also among different associations and unions in the region apart from APNGOs.

Ashok Babu advocates the people of Seemandhra that the fight will go on till the elections in 2014.  But  later,  only people of the State should take care of the movement.  He says that they should vote for the right candidate irrespective of the political party the contestant belongs to.  He says that the parties are immaterial only persons matter.

With a combination of these two with a backing of APNGOs, Kiran Kumar Reddy stands fair chances of winning if he floats a party at the right moment.  Surveys also reveal the same that is making all the parties including Congress party worry about it.
