According to the survey conducted by India Today and Neilsen political scene at the Center after 2014 elections will be as under:
Jagan will be in the lime light in the Union Government with 9 parties playing key role in the National Political arena. The prominent personalities that may form part of the Government, as per the survey, will be Mulayam Singh Yadav, Mayawati, Sharad Pawar, Karunanidhi, Jaya Lalitha, Mamta Benarjee, Navin Patnaik, Nitish Kumar and new entrant YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is expected to bag not less than 25 seats in the Parliament.
The survey reveals that YSR Congress Party has already became strong in 25 Parliament Constituencies and Telanga congresss voters areeither taking sides of TRS or YSRC party. Although Jagan Mohan Reddy was jailed on 27th May, 2012, his meeting with the leaders of other parties was not curtailed. Many a senior leaders met him in the Chunchalguda jail where he is put up and it shows that he is getting stronger day by day with many leaders either joining him or announcing their willingness to join him. The activities of the YSR Congress party are carried on without Jagan with the active roles played by his mother Vijayamma and sister Sharmila. Vijayamma participated in the protests against the Government and Sharmila continued a relay Pada Yatra that was left by YS Raja Sekhara Reddy and Jagan Mohan Reddy.
As per the survey reports, Jagan is going to be the center of activity with a strength of 25 MPs as the power game is already started at the Center with BJP and Congress Party looking for their allies.
