Senora Beach in association with Big 92.7 FM celebrated the World Tourism Day with a host of colourful events on Monday. Bheemunipatnam MLA M. Srinivas was the chief guest on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, he said that Andhra Pradesh had great potentials to turn into world-class tourism spot. “We should promote our region aggressively to attract more tourists,” he said. He said that various tourism projects would be started in Bhimli and other places in the region to enhance the tourism potential of Visakhapatnam district.

A travel and tourism exhibition was organised. Senora Beach Resorts launched its ‘Andhra Tour Package'.

The package is of six nights and seven days touring Konaseema, Rajahmundry, Annavaram, Mada Forests, Vizag, Araku and Jungle Bells. The cultural programmes included a fashion show in which the participants showcased the traditional wear of different states of the country.

A food court representing cuisines from different parts of India was also organised.
