Hyderabad will do well to heed the warnings of the Intelligence Bureau. Last time, though warnings were sent, the Dilsukhnagar attacks shocked not only the city, but the whole nation. Again on Thursday, the Intelligence Bureau has warned all major cities across India to be on high alert.
According to media reports, there may possibly be a repetition of past terror attacks on 21st July. A letter sent from Al Jihad, an organization not very well known, implied blasts at Railway stations and important installations.
Targeted cities include Hyderabad, Bangalore and Mumbai. Consequently, the Hyderabad police have stepped up security and enhanced searches all over the city. Paramilitary forces are also providing additional support.
