Venkaiah Naidu Could Be Our Next Vice-President:- Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu is sure one among the most experienced leaders BJP has. He has hands full of experience in various departments and he essayed various roles all these years BJP was in power. Venkaiah Naidu is currently playing a key role in the Presidential elections that are taking place. The election took place today and it was Venkaiah Naidu who assisted their Presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind for the campaign and meetings across various states of the country. The latest news we hear is that Venkaiah Naidu is now being considered for Vice-President and the ultimate decision is in the hands of BJP.

The meeting is expected to take place at 6 PM today and the Vice-President will be announced. BJP is keen in bringing a South India that will even lead for strengthening the party. However it is the decision of Narendra Modi if a cabinet minister can turn Vice-President. This is the only barrier for Venkaiah Naidu informs a source from the BJP office. There are even talks that the tag of Union minister ruled him out from the President’s role recently.

Venkaiah Naidu said “I neither want to become Rashtrapati (president), nor do I want to become uprashtrapati (vice president). I am happy being Usha's pati (wife Usha's husband)”. There are even names like Maharastra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao considered for the position of Vice-President. The polls are expected to be held on August 5th and BJP is said to sail safe joining hands with all the leading regional parties. Anyways they have enough strength and they have the potential to win with a huge margin informed a source.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with BJP Chief Amit Shah is said to have discussed some names. The opposition parties discussed and revealed that Gopalakrishna Gandhi will be their candidate for Vice-President. Venkaiah Naidu who has a strong legislative experience is apt and he is capable of holding things.
