Rajamouli Felicitated With ANR Award:- Akkineni Nageswara Rao International Award has been awarded every year for those who have excelled in the field of cinema. For this year, SS Rajamouli has been felicitated with the prestigious award in a grand event that took place in Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad last night. Indian Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao attended the event as Chief Guests.While M Venkaiah Naidu presented the award to the top director, the cheque along with the note of appreciation have been presented by KCR.

K Raghavendra Rao, Shobu Yarlagadda, Talasani Srinivas Yadad, Nimmagadda Prasad, Venkat Akkineni, Jagapathi Babu,  Akkineni Amala, Naga Chaitanya, Akhil, Sumanth, Sushanth, KK Senthil Kumar, Anup Rubens, Kalyan Krishna and others attended the event. All the guests lauded SS Rajamouli for his impressive work. Baahubali: The Conclusion which released recently shattered all the existing records of Indian cinema. Made on a lavish budget, the periodic drama went on to collect over Rs 1800 crores in its final run. SS Rajamouli has been appreciated widely after the film’s release and Nagarjuna felt that SS Rajamouli is the right one eligible for ANR Award.
