Venkaiah Naidu Inaugurates NH Projects In AP:- The foundation for six national highway projects and dedicated seven national highway projects has been inaugurated by the Vice President of India, Mr. Venkaiah Naidu in Andhra Pradesh on Monday. The projects totaling to 13, have been estimated at Rs 4153 crore.

Moreover, the foundation for a water way project too has been laid down by Naidu.

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister N. Chandra Babu Naidu, and other dignitaries will take part in the program. The foundation stone for the development of Muktyala to Vijayawada stretch of Krishna River in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh will also be laid down by the Vice President.

With these projects, the economic growth of the region will be boosted and the development of the capital city, Amaravati will be facilitated. Moreover, a proposal for the formation of Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for implementation of the project is under consideration for the approval of Cabinet.
