100 Years for Jallianwala Bagh Massacre:- This day marks the 100th anniversary of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre which is named as one of the worst atrocities of British colonial rule in the country. The Britishers are yet to apologize for the incident. Vice President Venkaiah Naidu along with Congress President Rahul Gandhi will pay their visit to the memorial located in Amritsar, Punjab. They will pay tribute to all those who lost their lives in this deadly attack. Rahul Gandhi already reached Amritsar last night and he offered prayers at the Golden Temple along with Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted "Today, when we observe 100 years of the horrific Jallianwala Bagh massacre, India pays tributes to all those martyred on that fateful day. Their valor and sacrifice will never be forgotten. Their memory inspires us to work even harder to build an India they would be proud of". Hundreds of people took part in the candlelight march last night. Thousands of Indian unarmed men were shot in this tragic incident by British troops under the leadership of Colonel Reginald Dyer. The incident took place in April 1919. Indians said that over 1000 people passed away in this deadly attack.
