Indian Vice President Venkaiah Naidu Tested Positive For Coronavirus:- Indian Vice President Venkaiah Naidu has been tested positive for coronavirus last evening. An official statement was released about the same and Venkaiah Naidu is doing stable. His wife Usha Naidu underwent the coronavirus test but she is tested negative for the same. Venkaiah Naidu underwent a routine COVID-19 test yesterday morning and the result is positive. He is asymptomatic and is in good health. Venkaiah Naidu has been advised home quarantine. His wife Usha Naidu is in self-isolation. Venkaiah Naidu recently attended the monsoon Parliament sessions and is the Rajya Sabha Chairman. Over 25 MPs are tested positive with coronavirus after which the monsoon sessions of Parliament are cut short.
The Vice President of India who underwent a routine COVID-19 test today morning has been tested positive. He is however, asymptomatic and in good health. He has been advised home quarantine. His wife Smt. Usha Naidu has been tested negative and is in self-isolation.

Earlier before this, BJP leader Uma Bharti is also tested positive for coronavirus. Venkaiah Naidu's office tweeted saying "The Vice President of India who underwent a routine COVID-19 test on Tuesday morning has been tested positive. He is, however, asymptomatic and in good health. He has been advised home quarantine. His wife Smt. Usha Naidu has been tested negative and is in self-isolation". The coronavirus cases in the country crossed 61 lakh and India is the second worst-hit country of the globe after the USA. The deaths in the country are nearing one lakh mark. The Centre is expected to announce the guidelines for Unlock 5.0 today.
