A special court in Hyderabad from National Investigation Agency (NIA) sentenced the five operatives of Indian Mujahideen to death who have been announced convincted in the Dilsukhnagar twin blasts case. Asadullah Akthar alias Haddi, Zia Ur Rahman alias Waqas, Mohammed Tahseen Akthar alias Hassan, Ahmed Siddibappa Zarrar alias Yasin Bhatkal and Ajaz Shaikh have been announced guilty on February 21st 2013 in Hyderabad. Mohammad Riyaz alias Bhaktal has been the prime convict among the five.
The suspence continued from the morning after the special court announced the verdict at 4:45 PM. All the five have been announced death penalty. None of the family members of the five convicted have been seen during the day. 21 people lost their lives in the twin blasts in Dilsukhnagar blasts and the court announced that the death is the highest punishment. The special court operated from Cherlapalli jail announced their decision.
