The final verdict in the Dilsukhnagar twin blasts case has been revealed yesterday evening after a complete day of high drama. All the five convicted have been sentenced to death by the special court of NIA which has been seated in Cherlapalli Central Prison due to security reasons. This has not been a shock to the outside world as it was expected earlier. The special court announced the highest sentence applicable as they killed 21 people and injured over 107 during the twin blasts. The most surprising thing is that the five convicted were not surprised after the decision has been out.
Bhatkal and his team showed no emotions and they were not left in shock. They only asked for a copy of the judgment revealed sources. Also none of the families from the convicted five were present during the judgement. The final arguments went for few hours on Monday and even the lawyers of the convicted have been missing. The court gave a chance to speak before the final judgment has been revealed. However Bhatkal and his team said that they are ready to accept the punishment and respect the court. Sources revealed that the convicted will soon file a petition in the High Court soon.
