Over 186 snakes were found in a 40 year old house in Laskhimpur district, Uttar Pradesh.
Jitendra Misra, a retired forest official, reportedly, is living in the house in Bagia locality, along with his family. A hissing sound on Sunday night, woke up the family, sleeping.
After finding two pairs of snakes coiled in one corner of the room, Jitendra Misra called other family members and neighbors and managed to put those snakes into a box.

But to the shock of the people on the spot, several snakes appeared in the room, which frightened the family and had to spend that night at a neighbor’s home.
The family later called a local ‘tantric’ Ram Chandra, who said that, there was a basement under one wall of the house. The wall was then broken and the local people dug further and found a number of snakes coming out.
Speaking about the issue, Jitendra Misra said, “A total of 186 snakes came out and we put them in a box and left them in a nearby river. The ‘tantric’ told us not to harm the snakes.”
