Man arrested after hundreds of Pythons found in home

A 53 year old school teacher was arrested after hundreds of living and dead Pythons were found in his home in California. All the snakes were kept in plastic boxes and it wasn't clear if he had an attorney. The police are yet to put him before the court but have charged and took him into their custody. The accused is identified as Buchman who works at Newport-Mesa Unified School District and he did not comment on the matter when asked by the reporters. But to the authorities Buchman said he was involved in a snake-breeding enterprise.

Sondra Berg, the supervisor for the Santa Ana Police Department's Animal Services Division, said, “four of the five bedrooms in the home were stacked from floor to ceiling and wall to wall with plastic bins on wooden and metal racks. The bins were packed so tightly, that they didn't require lids because there was no room for the snakes to slither out. All the snakes are named and labeled properly .”
