SC gives positive hope to Yakub Memon

Supreme Court judges give a positive hope to Yakub Memon saying that, there is no such valid reason to reject Yakub’s bail plea.

It is known that Yakub Memon’s tentative date of hanging might be on July 30th. Many of the officials opined that, he will be hanged on that day itself.

Yakub Memon’s bail plea was rejected in the past, even by the Supreme Court and it is now, he is left with no option to protect himself from being hanged. Taking out this point, Yakub said, “it is illegal to issue a death warrant, after I lost all the legal options.”

In fact, not only Yakub, several others objected Yakub death sentence and regarding this, Salman is already in the news.

Adding to this, lawyers on Yakub behalf said that, judges who ordered death sentence to Yakub, should have been part of the bench, that decided Yakub’s curative petition.

To discuss about the case, two Supreme Court judges, asked the Chief Justice of India to take a call. Regarding this, Chief Justice HL Dattu has set up a larger bench, which has only one day to decide on Yakub.

Yakub Memon should be hanged for sure - a SC judge

Speaking on the issue, Justice Anil Dave, one of the judges took out a Sanskrit quote saying: "If the king doesn't punish the guilty with red eyes, then the entire sin will come on the king", implying that Yakub should be hanged for sure.

Yakub’s curative petition is not dealt properly- another SC judge

On the other side, Justice Joseph agreed that, Yakub’s curative petition was not dealt properly and wished to cure the defect.

One day left to decide on Yakub’s death sentence

However, there is not more time left to decide about Yakub Memon case, whether to be hanged or not, as the court had already declared that, the execution would be on July 30th. So, hope the Supreme Court takes a wise decision soon, which can be universally accepted.
