The general elections 2014 in Andhra Pradesh will be held in two phases. Elections for the Telangana region will be held on April 30th and in Seemandhra region on May 7th.

For the Telangana region, Election notification will be released on April 2nd. The nominations will be accepted from April 7th and 12th is the deadline for withdrawal of nominations. Polling will be held on April 30th

For the Seemandhra region, election notification will be released on April 12th. The nominations will be accepted from April 17th and 23rd is the deadline for withdrawal of nominations. Polling will be held on May 7th.

Election Commission Commissioner VS Sampath also said there is no change in the number of seats in both Lok Sabha and Assembly segments in view of division of Andhra Pradesh.
