The above statement was made by former Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal who stepped down from the CM chair in just 49 days. Speaking to NDTV in an exclusive interview, Kejriwal urged the Delhi voters not to fall in the trap of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressed confidence of winning the fresh elections with a clear majority.
Kejriwal added that his party and he would explain the people of Delhi what they did in those 49 days of governance and seek votes from people. Going back on the agitations, Kejriwal added that this they won't be doing agitational politics as it did not have much impact on the Delhi people. Squashing the reports of 'Modi Wave' Kejriwal said, people of Maharashtra and Haryana have no choice to vote and so they preferred BJP as they are fed up of Congress government. However, Delhi has a strong alternative in the form of Aam Aadmi Party.
Regarding the poll funding, Kejriwal said, the donations to the party have increased by 10 folds and this time they would be spending around Rs 30 to Rs 40 crores for the poll campaign.
