Union Home Affairs Ministry on Tuesday has made interesting statements on Andhra Pradesh bifurcation issue. Sources say that the Central Government is closely observing the developments in Andhra Pradesh and the Union Home Ministry has asked the State government to submit only opinion on Telangana Bill.
The Ministry of Home Affairs also stated that even if the bill is not sent back within the given time, the government will place the bill in February sessions of Parliament and a complete discussion on it will take place in the upper house. Any amendments to be made in the bill will be done in Parliament and the concerns over the bill are just to blame the government claimed Home Ministry.
Special session of Parliament will begin from February 3rd and this session will be last of the government as Election Commission will issue the notification in last week of same month. So in this sessions of Parliament, UPA government is firm to grant Telangana a separate statehood.
