Utter Confustion In Parliament Due To No Trust Notices

In an unprecedented way no trust notices were submitted by Congress MPs followed by TDP and YSRCP MPs that has made an uncertain and confusing situation in the Parliament. It did not come for the debate on Tuesday because of the commotion in the house. By Tuesday evening the parties moving no trust could gather some support from other parties as they have promised to the Speaker while submitting the notice.

About 70 to 80 members belonging to different stats gathered at the Speaker’s podium protesting for the problems in their respective states. The house had to be adjourned till 12.00 pm.  At 12.00 pm Speaker Meira Kumar announced that she got a no confidence notice against the ruling party which can be brought for discussion if the house maintains peaceful atmosphere.  Some MPs have gone back to their seats but others continued their protest.  Soon the MPs who have gone back to their seats also went again to the Speaker’s podium to protest again.  As the situation was unruly, the Speaker adjourned the house till Wednesday.

The Seemandhra MPs think that the bringing it to the discussion can be taken as the fulfillment of the object. About 40 members’ support could be mustered by the Seemandhra MPs by Tuesday night. If the no trust is supported by 50 members it will go for the debate in the house.

BJP has not given any commitment so far. It says let the no trust come for the debate and then we will tell what we want to do.
