The NDA government has finalised the Winter sessions of Parliament and they will begin on November 24 and conclude on December 23. This will be the second major session since the Narendra Modi Government took over in May. The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs headed by Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday recommended the dates to the President of India seeking his approval.
A total of 67 bills [59 in Rajya Sabha and 8 in Lok Sabha] are in pending to get the Parliament acceptance and the government is hopeful to get at least half of them. This time, we may not expect heavy protest in the Parliament as the new government seems to be non-controversial. However, the black money issue might be a factor.
