Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is meeting Sonia Gandhi at her residence in Delhi today.  Mr Kiran Kumar, who left for Delhi, this morning arrived at the national capital region sometime back. There have been many speculations on Kiran meeting Sonia. Since Telangana issue is at its peak and Centre has to take a decision as soon as possible, Sonia Gandhi was said to have called Kiran to discuss the issue and enquire him as to apparently why a state should not be carved out and whether it would effect Congress party in future.

News is in the air that chief minister Kiran Kumar and PCC chief Botsa were reportedly against the formation of Telangana state. And in the wake of the same, Centre had apparently put a halt to its decision on Telangana. As we know all party meeting was over and there was a clear consensus visible in the meeting. Union home minister Shinde recently said that further consultations were required on Telangana issue. It looks like chief minister meeting Sonia Gandhi could be a part of the same consultations mentioned.
