TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu has agreed to the requests made by the doctors and his party leaders who urged him to take rest since he developed back injury in stage fall yesterday in Gadwal. Earlier, Chandrababu Naidu showed reluctance to halt his padayatra. He was, however, persuaded by several leaders to take rest for a couple of days. Although Chandrababu nodded, he said that he would rest only on Saturday and resume his padayatra on Sunday.

It may be recalled that Chandrababu Naidu has a fall from the stage last night as the diaz collapsed at Gadwal leaving many of TD activists and his family members in shock. He soon stood on his own and came out of that venue and told his leaders that he was okay. However, after a few minutes of walk, he felt pain in the back region and wrapped his belly region with his party towel. He then halted at a rice mill owing to severe back pain. Immediately a team of doctors rushed to the spot and adviced him bed rest.
