A Nampally criminal court today sent the Tollywood producer Mr Singanamala Ramesh to the CID custody for a week.
CID police, who arrested Ramesh in Chennai and brought him to Hyderabad, produced him in the Nampally court four days ago. The court sent him to judicial remand till July 11.
However, the CID police sought Ramesh’s custody for further interrogation in connection with the cases relating to the cheating complaint by the film financier Mrs Vyjayanthi Reddy, his relations with Bhanu Kiran, the prime accused in the Maddelacheruvu Suri murder case and also in relation to the complaints lodged by the video companies Shalimar and Universal videos.
The criminal court accepted the CID plea and ordered the custody of Ramesh to them for a week for further interrogation.
