Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) leader Manda Krishna Madiga today threatened to launch an agitation from March 1 if the Bill for classification of the SCs is not introduced and approved in the on-going budget session of parliament.
Speaking at a media conference in Hyderabad, Manda Krishna said it was the duty of the Kirankumar reddy government to ensure the introduction and passage of the Bill in the budget session of parliament.
He said that chief minister Kirankumar reddy should personally take an all party delegation to Delhi and ensure that the Centre introduces the Bill for classification of the SCs. “It is also the responsibility of the chief minister to see that the Bill is passed,” he said. “He should bring pressure on the Centre for this purpose.”
The classification of SCs should be accorded constitutional guarantees and fully legalized otherwise chief minister should take full responsibility for the consequences that will take place in the near future, Manda Krishna warned.
