Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal preferred to stay away from the elections in Haryana and Maharashtra states to focus more on the national capital, Delhi. In the AAP interaction session on Google Hangout, Kejriwal said AAP should concentrate more on Delhi so it should opt out of Haryana and Maharashtra polls which are slated later this year.

New Delhi has been under President's Rule since February 17 as Kejriwal resigned to CM post as the Jan Lokpal bill got deferred in Assembly. This drew lukewarm response for the Delhi public and eventually AAP could even single Lok Sabha seat. Post the elections, Kejriwal made attempts to form government in Delhi but the Congress party has denied to support.

The BJP led NDA government may lift the President's Rule and call for fresh polls in Delhi. AAP wants to utilize this opportunity  and form government in Delhi with full majority. AAP is likely to deploy more volunteers to support them if the elections are called for.

If the elections are held again, people of Delhi verdict will be an interesting one.
