Arvind Kejriwal congratulates Punjab for the revolutionary victory of AAP:- Aam Aadmi Party surprised the nation after the party reported a land sliding victory in Punjab in the 2022 Assembly polls. AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal started celebrating and he tweeted "Is inquilab ke liye Punjab ke logon ko bohat bohat badhai (Many congratulations to the people of Punjab for this revolution)". AAP is leading in 90 out of the 117 seats in the state. Congress and BJP will suffer a huge defeat and the ruling party Congress is in the second place. Congress leaders Navjot Singh Sidhu and Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi are trailing. Former Chief Minister Amarinder Singh who was sacked from his position lost in the Assembly polls.

AAP could not make much impact on the other states but in Punjab it is a huge victory for the party in the state. The Assembly results are declared in the states of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur. BJP showed a clear majority in all the four other states. In Uttar Pradesh, BJP is heading for a record victory. Yogi Adityanath is all set to retain the power in the state. Congress lost trace in all the states and showed no signs of a comeback. BJP is expected to end up 300 seats out of the 403 seats.
