Quitting was a mistake says Kejriwal

Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal for the first opened about his decision to quit the chief minister of Delhi and admitted that it was a mistake. In an exclusive interview to an English Daily, Kejriwal said that the resignation was mistimed and it has sent wrongs signals to the people.

Kejriwal opined that AAP should have taken people's opinion before stepping down from the government and a proper explanation to the people would have worked in favor of them. The Delhi ex-CM also accepted that there was a communication gap from people and AAP and also Congress, BJP have successfully managed to fill the gap.

On 14 February 2014 Kejriwal resigned as Chief Minister after failing to table the Jan Lokpal Bill in the Delhi Assembly and recommended the dissolution of the Assembly.
