Hugo Barra, the vice president of the Google Android team, is quitting  the company and why?

Barra, who has been instrumental in developing Android, has handed his resignation, and will soon be moving to Xiaomi, a Chinese company that makes Android phones. But the big question is, is the move really a career move?

Various websites including TechCrunch have hinted than Barra could be exiting Google owing to a love affair gone wrong.

They have associated  his heartache and exit to Google co-founder Sergei Brin and Amanda Rosenberg, a marketing manager who is part of Google Glass team.

Rosenberg, 26,  was romantically involved with Barra in the past. However, she is now believed to be dating Brin, a married guy.

Sources from the Silicon Valley affirmed that Rosenberg was seeing Barra, before she fell fir Brin while touring the world for the promotion of their OK glass.

This is not the first time that a love affair between two Googlers is making headlines. After Larry page became the CEO, rumors were rife that he sidelined Marissa Mayer, the current CEO of Yahoo, as they were romantically involved in the past.
