It was around January when a trained beautician was returning home in her SUV, barely in control of it as she was driving under influence when she ran into a police check-point near Marine Drive. She in the accident killed two people including a cop and a driver while injuring three others.

She was arrested immediately but was granted bail in April. Today a court declared her guilty of culpable homicide. The court also accepted that the woman was drunk at the time of the accident.

Nooriya Haveliwala, beautician, was also tested positive for banned and illegal narcotics like cannabis, better known as Marijuana after the accident took place.
