A teenage girl, only 15 year old, was shot in the eyes while she tried to save her father from the goons attacking him. Her father worked as a barber in a village, Naugarh, only a 100 km away from Patna, Bihar. She was blinded by the gunshot wound and the doctors are trying their best to protect her other eye.

Biseshwar Thakur, the father mentioned that a client of his was enraged after he was not happy with his work, trimming his beard and had assaulted him. His daughter had intervened and tried to help him as the attacker, Rahul and another accomplice turned their attention to her. They also pulled her dupatta in an attempt to molest her, alleged Biseshwar. As she started to run, one of them had shot her when she looked back while running.

She was admitted to Patna medical College and hospital where doctors are making their best efforts to save her remaining eye. The accused have not been arrested yet.
