Amary Jyoti Kalita, the man you know from the most hated video of the month, the Guwahati molestation case, has been arrested finally after running from the police for more than 2 weeks on Monday. His movements were being continuously monitored since the  ugliest incident which was caught on the camera.

He has become notorious with pictures and the frames in the video being telecasted on the news channels but he was not seen in person. This man who ran covering the length and breadth of the country finally gave up the run and surrendered to the police in Varanasi.

He after learning that he was being highlighted in the video fled to Bhubaneshwar and then wen on to Mumbai. He has also sought the help of many lawyers for anticipatory bail. This came to the notice of the Assam police who began tracing the phone calls.

He went back Mumbai again and made numerous calls from the CST station there trying to reach the lawyers from Mumbai. This mistake of his has helped the police spot him on the CCTV cameras. He also approached his cousin in Mumbai who refused to provide him with shelter. He then came back to Kolkata.

He was seen in the CCTV yet again from the Speed Post Office in Howrah. The Assam Police had told his brother and father that Kalita had no choice but to surrender, he contacted the Assam Police from Varanasi and asked for their coordination and security before surrendering to the UP police.

He is being interrogated by the police of Varanasi Cantonment and is to be taken custody by the Varanasi police soon. Further details regarding the incident would be out soon.
