Suu Kyi steps into parliament

Myanmar's democratic leaders Aung San Suu Kyi has entered the parliament for the first time today. Sixteen-seven-year old Suu Kyi was supposed to make the parliamentary debut last week itself. However, she postposed it to today due to the long pending Europen tour where she received her Nobel Peace Prize.

It may be noted that Aung San Suu Kyi created a history by fighting the military rule in Myanmar. She was locked up for about 25 years at her home itself. She, at last, became MP and on Monday she stepped into the Parliament hall at Myanmar's capital Nepida.
