Four students missing in Malda

Four Students, all from IX class in Hatimari High School, were found to be missing on Sunday from Gazole. Police and parents fear a case of kidnapping although there has not been any ransom call yet.

Koustav Ghosh, Mrinmoy Ghosh, Rupam Mandal and Ashok Sarkar, brilliant students, were missing after they went to the tuitions and did not return. Apart from Ashok, rest of the friends hailed from wealthy families. Koustav Ghosh is the son of Panchayat pradhan of Gazole and the TMC leader Anantha Ghosh.

People who spotted them have said that they were seen at 11 am in Alamput. One of them took an auto while others continued walking. Later they went missing.

A missing complaint had been lodged with the police in the evening and the police have not made any breakthroughs in the case yet. A sensation was created as all the boys were popular and it has been speculated that they could have been kidnapped.
