Myanmar's government has asked the democratic leader Aung San Suu Kyi and her  National League for Democracy to call the country as Myanmar and not by its former name Burma. It may be noted that during her recent trip to Europe, called her country Burma. The government, which responded on the same, has asked the leader to respect the constitution. Although the name of Burma was changed to Myanmar long ago, the opposition of military ignored the change and continued to call the country as Burma.
