Wife of Uttar Pradesh chief minister, Dimple Yadav, who has won unanimously for Lok Sabha seat from Kannauj district of the state has travelled about 20 kilometres from her place to take the victory certificate from Kannuaj district magistrate. The 35-year-old Dimple was accomponied by her husband.

After receiving the certificate, the couple went to Teela Temple and offered prayers. While returning, she came across many party supports who greeted her on her victory. She has thanked them all for the support.

The chief minister Akhilesh Yadav later spoke to the media. He has said that Kannuaj would now witness development.
